Butterfly Earrings

On September 4, I went to my cousin's 1st birthday held at the Japanese - American Museum. I was looking at the gift shop and I found tons of interesting items such as these Butterfly earrings. The earrings are handmade Washi jewelry. According to the info found inside the box, Washi is the Japanese word for the traditional papers made from the long inner fibres of three plants, wa meaning Japanese and shi meaning paper. The company Legend Design uses sterling silver hooks & a lacquer finish for protection. They also had the same earrings in an orange color, but I love the turquoise/gold color better and plus it looks a lot more elegant.

IQQU & Eyeko Haul

Couple weeks ago I really wanted to try Eyeko and IQQU. I decided to get the famous Eyeko 3 in 1 cream which I've tried for the past few weeks and I love it so much! It gives me this beautiful glow and natural blush. I also like how creamy it feels. I got the duo eyeliner in purple, but they gave me blue...I'm disappointed that they got the order wrong. I even sent a message, yet they haven't done anything about it. >:( They had a special event going on where if you buy over 15 dollars worth of stuff you get free nail polish and so I got the tea rose nail polish. :) They also gave me some free cleansing wipes. Another thing I've been excited about was IQQU (Michelle Phan's skin care line). I still have to try her other products, but for now I've been using the IQQU Jasmine Rice Srub. Not only does it smell so yummy, it feels amazing on the skin. It's a wonderful mini face treatment because after I rinse my skin is smooth and rejuvenated. :) Well that's all for now. Cya~

My Hair Routine

My hair routine is simple. I mainly towel dry my hair and air dry, then use 1-2 products afterwards. Sometimes I will blow dry and use straightener for special occasions. Lately I've been using the So Sexy Smooth Straight & Silky Styling Mist. It basically conditions for heat-styling protection and frizz-free style. I absolutely love this product and it smells lovely. This product actually does what it says. I towel dry my hair until its damp and then spray a few times. Then I pump a tiny amount of shine serum. The one I use is the Paul Mitchell shine serum.
A pea size amount of shine serum is perfect for use. I rub the shine serum between my hands to warm it up and then I apply the product half way from the hair to the tips and the bottom tips of my bangs. Don't use too much of the shine serum because then your hair will appear oily or greasy and that's not good at all. Never put the shine serum at the top of your hair either. When you comb wet hair use a wide tooth comb because other combs will damage the hair when it's wet causing split ends and breakage. That's it for my hair routine. I will add another blog later about what shampoo, conditioner and hair mask products I use.
